This street appears as an unnamed alley in the 1890 Hopkins atlas.[1] It is drawn more fully in the 1901 edition, though it is still unlabeled.[2] It was named Cresson Street in Clifford B. Harmon's 1903 Grandview plan.[3]
Cresson Street was renamed Cushman Street in 1925.[4]
