1851: Source:Sidney-neff shows "N. Dolam" at the bend in Frankstown Road.

1862: Source:Beers, in the East Liberty inset, shows "J. Dahleen" at the bend in the Frankstown Turnpike.

1867-09-03 (recorded): Source:Jacob-dahlem-heirs-plan

1872: Source:Hopkins-1872, pp. 61, 65, 70–71: "Dahlem Est." on a triangle of land in the corner of the above plan.

1971-02-22: Source:Resolution-1971-43 authorized the transfer of $259,797 "for the construction of a concrete roadway, within a fifty (50) foot right-of-way, to proceed easterly from Dahlem Street into the Penn–Dahlem Area, a distance of approximately six hundred (600) feet."

1971-08-11: Source:Ordinance-1971-330 authorized an agreement with the Urban Redevelopment Authority to construct "a new street in compliance with City of Pittsburgh standards from Dahlem Street eastwardly along the northerly line of National Biscuit Company's property."

2008-10-27: Source:Resolution-2008-585 accepted the dedication of Dahlem Place.
