From Pittsburgh Streets
Macfarren Street
Neighborhoods Squirrel Hill South, Swisshelm Park

Macfarren Street was laid out in 1893 in a plan of lots for E. E. Fulmer.[1] The spelling Macfarren, with a lowercase F, was officially established by a city ordinance in 1910.[2] Nevertheless, it is often spelled as McFarren, including on the current street sign at Old Browns Hill Road.
