This street was laid out in 1903 as Kingsbora Street, ending with an A, in the Grandview plan by Clifford B. Harmon.[1][2] The spelling was changed (perhaps unintentionally) to Kingsboro Street, ending with an O, by a city ordinance in 1910 that established the names of all streets in Pittsburgh.[3]
