This street appears as Willow Street in an 1851 plan of lots by William Porter[1] and R. E. McGowin's 1852 map of Pittsburgh.[2]
Willow Street was renamed Wooster Street in 1881 to fix the conflict with Willow Street in Lawrenceville.[3]
