Origin of name John H. Sawyer

Sawyer Street was laid out in 1867 in a plan of lots by John H. Sawyer.[1] Disconnected portions of the street were subsequently laid out in 1870 in plans of lots by William Smith and Eliza Gallahue.[2][3][4]
