Pine Street is listed in an 1881 city ordinance that established the names of all streets in Pittsburgh. It ran from Marengo Street to Fernleaf Street, one block north of Schuyler Street (formerly Spruce Street and today Salisbury Street). Pine Street was vacated in 1980.
