Pine Street is listed in an 1881 city ordinance that established the names of all streets in Pittsburgh.[1] It ran from Marengo Street to Fernleaf Street, one block north of Schuyler Street (formerly Spruce Street and today Salisbury Street).[2] Pine Street was vacated in 1980.[3]
