Origin of name Glenwood, a community laid out by Thomas S. Blair

Glenwood Avenue was first laid out in 1887 in the Mansion House plan.[1] It is named for Glenwood, a community laid out by Thomas S. Blair, first as Ross Common in the early 1850s[2] before being re-established as Glenwood in the 1860s.[3][4][5][6]
