Dunmoyle Street

From Pittsburgh Streets
Dunmoyle Street
Neighborhood Squirrel Hill North
Daum Street (until 1897)
Origin of name S. F. Daum
Dunmoyle Avenue (1897–1910)

This street was originally named Daum Street for S. F. Daum, who lived at the southwest corner of its intersection with Wilkins Avenue.[1]

In 1897, a city ordinance renamed it Dunmoyle Avenue (despite the title of the ordinance saying "Dunmoyle street").[2] It officially became Dunmoyle Street in 1910.[3]
