Castalia Street

From Pittsburgh Streets
Castalia Street
Neighborhood Esplen

This street runs southwest from Carson Street between Corliss Street and Glen Mawr Street. It was laid out in 1874 in a plan of lots by Edward McGinnis, though that plan did not give it a name.[1][2] It remained unnamed until 1906, after Esplen Borough had been annexed by Pittsburgh,[3] when a Pittsburgh city ordinance named it Castalia Street.[4]
