Antler Way is the short alley that runs westward from the middle of Sheridan Square.
It was laid out in 1873 in a plan of lots by Levi Wilson, though that plan did not give it a name.[1] It was named Antler Alley in 1881 by a city ordinance that officially established the names of all streets and alleys in Pittsburgh.[2] Antler Alley became Antler Way in 1914, when another ordinance changed all alleys in Pittsburgh to ways.[3]
