West Circuit Road
Neighborhood Squirrel Hill South
Origin of name The circuit it originally made from Schenley Drive back to Schenley Drive

West Circuit Road was named by a city ordinance in 1936, which described it as the "road leaving from the Westinghouse Memorial on a circuit back to Schenley drive."[1] The original circuit of the road is shown in the 1910 Hopkins atlas; it was one of two adjacent roads making such a circuit (the other later named East Circuit Road).[2] The road does not complete this circuit today.
