- Source:Another-lease: "The Land Trust Company, represented by Thomas Travers, sold for W. J. Griffith, to M. Shiras the residence at 5729 Darlington road, Twenty-second ward, for $9,000, taking in part payment 70 × 133 feet, vacant, in Marlborough place, Twenty-second ward, at $7,000. The Darlington road house is a [sic] 11-room reception hall brick on 34 × 150 feet. Mr. Griffith, it is understood, intends improving the Marlborough place with a handsome dwelling."

Shiras, who will occupy it, 34 × 150 feet, with an 11-room reception hall brick house at No. 5729 Darlington road, for $9,000. A lot, 70 × 133 feet, on Marlborough place, Twenty-second ward, was given in part pay at $7,000, and will be built on."

1923-06-12: "Two Squirrel Hill houses bring $41,150: Dwellings in Marlborough road purchased for $20,575 each—50-acre tract in Nine Mile Run transferred," Pittsburgh Gazette Times, p. 21 (Newspapers.com 85858143): "Sales of two of the new Kamin houses in Marlborough road, Squirrel Hill, and the transfer of a large tract of land in the Nine-Mile Run section of the Fourteenth Ward were among the transactions reported in real estate circles yesterday. The dwellings in Marlborough road are recently completed buildings, being two of several houses erected there by Herman Kamin. They contain eight rooms and two baths each and occupy lots 42 × 100 feet. The purchasers were Robert Zugsmith and Edward M. Meyer, both of whom purchased for occupancy. The consideration in each purchase was $20,575."
1924-07-14: Source:Municipal-record-1924, p. 474: "Also ¶ No. 1469. Communication from Wm. M. Justice relative to the dedication of Marlborough road, 14th Ward. ¶ Which was read and referred to the Committee on Public Works, and hearing arranged for Wednesday, July 16, 1924, at 2:00 o'clock, P. M."
1926-01-19: Source:Ordinance-1926-15: "An ordinance fixing the width and position of the roadway and sidewalks and establishing the opening grade of Marlborough Road, as laid out to be dedicated as a legally opened highway by Herman Kamin, Joseph Levin, Eugene C. Bastable and Marion A. Bastable, his wife, in a plan of lots of their property in the Fourteenth Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, named Marlborough Place."
1926-03: Marlborough Place Plan of Lots laid out (according to Source:Ordinance-1926-228). I cannot find this plan.
1926-05-13: Source:Ordinance-1926-228 approved the Marlborough Place plan and the dedication of Marlborough Road.
