Lehrman Alley (1906–1914)

This alley appears, unlabeled, in the 1872 Hopkins atlas[1] and in an 1881 plan of lots by the Rt. Rev. John Tuigg.[2] It remained unnamed until 1906, when a city ordinance named it Lehrman Alley.[3] It became Lehrman Way in 1914, when another ordinance changed all alleys in Pittsburgh to ways.[4]
