Origin of name Elizabeth Ferree McCombs

Ferree Street was dedicated to the City of Pittsburgh by the Fidelity Title & Trust Company, administrator of the estate of Elizabeth Ferree McCombs, in 1912.[1] McCombs had owned the land through which the street runs.[2]
