Template:Web

From Pittsburgh Streets
The {{web}} template is used to make a citation for a Web page. Sources that use the {{web}} template are added to Category:Web sources.

first1 First author's first name. For a Web page with only one author, first can be used as a synonym.
last1 First author's last name, or the whole name of the first author when that author has a single name (such as an organization). For a Web page with only one author, last can be used as a synonym.
first2 Second author's name.
last2
title Web page title. This should normally be in sentence case.
subtitle Web page subtitle. This should be in sentence case.
description Description of the Web page, in lieu of (or in addition to) the title.
org The organization that owns or controls the Web site.
site The name of the Web site.
date The date of the Web page (not the access date).
url The URL of the Web page. Multiple URLs can be provided, separated by spaces.
wayback A Wayback Machine URL for a copy of the page archived by the Internet Archive. Multiple URLs can be provided, separated by spaces.
note A note to be appended to the end of the citation.
is-subref Set this parameter to true when citing this article inside the definition of another source in the "Source" namespace. This changes some punctuation and suppresses the categorization of the source in Category:Web sources.
source-name The page name of this source (in the "Source" namespace). This is used to provide a link to the source page.
