This street was laid out in 1903 as an unnamed alley in the Boulevard plan of lots.[1]
In March 1959, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Quinn, the only residents of the street, asked City Council to name it Quinn Drive.[2][3] The following month an ordinance was passed naming it Quinn Way.[4] Somebody must have complained that this was not the requested name, for City Council passed another ordinance in September changing it to Quinn Drive.[5]
