One Wild Place

From Pittsburgh Streets
One Wild Place
Neighborhood Highland Park
Origin of name Pittsburgh Zoo

The original name of this street was Hill Road. (The city's neighborhood map still calls it "The Hill Rd.")[1] It was renamed One Wild Place in 1998 in honor of the centennial of the Pittsburgh Zoo.[2] The word "One" is part of the name of the street; it is not an address.
