Black & Baird, No. 95 Fourth avenue, sold to Harry Brown, Esq., lot No. 82 in Boulevard place, East End, fronting 55 feet on Thomas boulevard, by 142 feet in depth. Mr. Brown will erect, in the spring, a stone house on this lot, and there will also be 15 other stone houses, in the same plan, erected next year.
Samuel W. Black & Co., 99 Fourth avenue, sold to E. Smith for $2,000 a lot 50 × 181 feet on the south side of Wallingford street in the Wallingford place plan of lots, Shady Side.
Reed B. Coyle & Co., 131 Fourth avenue, sold to Roenigk Bros. for F. Sellers, a frame dwelling of eight rooms on the corner of Shady lane and Howe street, for a price approximating $5,700.
Alles & Bailey, 164 Fourth avenue, sold at auction for John J. Mitchell a business property, Nos. 510 and 510½ Fifth avenue, consisting of two brick dwellings of five rooms each and two store rooms, also two brick dwellings on rear of lot, facing Aner street, lot 23, 8 inches Fifth avenue, 24 feet Aner street, depth 115 feet, for $6,980 to Phillip Stock.
Jamison & Dickie, 96 Fourth avenue, sold for J. B. Kennedy a seven-roomed brick house, lot 20 × 100, corner Meadow street and Park avenue, to William Kirker for $3,300; also, for William Mooney & Sons a new frame six room and attic house fronting on the railroad near Roup station, on Potter street, lot 43 × 100 feet, to D. C. Capperstone for $4,450, and for John G. Steinhouse a lot on Inwood street, Twenty-first ward, 33⅓ × 138 feet, to Ada Campbell for $550. They also sold three mortgages—one for $500, one for $1,100 and one for $1,500—on East End property, all for three years at 6 per cent.
