Street Name Change Sought
Delphas Pl., Squirrel Hill, has been known as Dunmoyle Pl. so long that the residents there resent it being called by its rightful name, City Councilman Frederic Weir told Council yesterday in presenting an ordinance making Dunmoyle Pl. the rightful name. It is a short street running from S. Negley Ave. to Dunmoyle Pl. and always has been considered a part of the latter.
Recently, when city employes were installing new street markers, they checked and found the name originally and rightfully was Delphas Pl. Official approval probably will be given Monday.
