ACCEPTING the dedication of property for public highway purposes for the extension of Niceville Street in the Thirty-First Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, opening and naming the same.

WHEREAS, the Borough of West Homestead has dedicated to the City of Pittsburgh a portion of its property in said City for public highway purposes as recorded in Deed Book Volume 5892, Page 122, and

WHEREAS, it is desired that the City of Pittsburgh accept said extension of Niceville Street as part of the City's system of public highways; now therefore

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PITTSBURGH AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. That the dedication of property for public highway purposes for the extension of Niceville Street in the Thirty-First Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, shall be and the same is hereby accepted according to the following description, to-wit:

Beginning on the northerly line of Fieldstone Drive at the southwesterly corner of Lot No. 258 in the Calhoun Village Plan of Lots No. 4, as laid out in the Recorder's Office of Allegheny County in Plan Book Volume No. 62, Pages 47 and 48; thence through Lot No. 1558 in the New Homestead Plan of Lots, Eastern Addition, of record in the Recorder's Office of Allegheny County in Plan Book Volume No. 18, Pages 1 through 3, North 43° 22′ 00″ West for a distance of 119.02 feet to a point on the easterly line of Benezet Street; thence along said easterly line of Benezet Street South 45° 38′ 00″ West for a distance of 50.01 feet to a point; thence through Lot No. 1560 in said New Homestead Plan South 43° 22′ 00″ East for a distance of 119.02 feet to a point on the southerly line of Fieldstone Drive at the northwesterly corner of Lot No. 259 in said Calhoun Village Plan; thence North 45° 38′ 00″ East for a distance of 50.01 feet to the place of beginning.

SECTION 2. That portion of property as aforesaid dedicated to said City for public highway purposes, shall be and the same is hereby opened as a public highway of the City of Pittsburgh and is herewith named Niceville Street.

SECTION 3. Any Resolution or Ordinance or part thereof conflicting with the provisions of this Resolution is hereby repealed so far as the same affects this Resolution.
