"An ordinance authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works to advertise for proposals and to award a contract or contracts for the construction of a sewer on the northeast sidewalk of Ohio River Boulevard from the existing sewer on the northeast sidewalk of Ohio River Boulevard at Millerton avenue, to the existing sewer on the northeast sidewalk of Ohio River Boulevard, northwest of Elmhurst avenue. Also the construction of a sewer on the southwest sidewalk and roadway of Ohio River Boulevard, from a point about 60 ft. northwest of Millerton avenue, to the existing sewer on the northeast sidewalk of Ohio River Boulevard, northwest of Elmhurst avenue. Also the construction of a sewer on the northeast sidewalk of Ohio River Boulevard, from a point about 70 ft. northwest of Wealth street, to the existing Jacks Run sewer crossing Ohio River Boulevard at or near the City line. Also the construction of a sewer on the east sidewalk of McKees Rocks Bridge (Termon Avenue approach), from the existing sewer on the east sidewalk of McKees Rocks Bridge (Termon Avenue approach) at Florida street, to the existing sewer crossing McKees Rocks Bridge (Termon Avenue approach) at Davis avenue, and authorizing the setting aside the sum of Twelve Thousand ($12,000.00) Dollars, from Bond Fund No. 295, Sewer Bonds of 1928, for the payment of the cost thereof and further authorizing and providing for the letting of a contract therefor." Section 1. Be it ordained and enacted by the City of Pittsburgh, in Council assembled, and it is hereby ordained and enacted by the authority of the same, That the Mayor and the Director fo the Department of Public Works shall be and they are hereby authorized and directed to advertise for proposals and to award a contract or contracts to the lowest responsible bidder or bidders for the construction of a sewer on the northeast sidewalk of Ohio River Boulevard from the existing sewer on the northeast sidewalk of Ohio River Boulevard at Millerton avenue to the existing sewer on the northeast sidewalk of Ohio River Boulevard, northwest of Elmhurst avenue. Also the construction of a sewer on the southwest sidewalk and roadway of Ohio River Boulevard, from a point about 60 ft. northwest of Millerton avenue, to the existing sewer on the northeast sidewalk of Ohio River Boulevard, northwest of Elmhurst avenue. Also the construction of a sewer on the northeast sidewalk of Ohio River Boulevard, from a point about 70 ft. northwest of wealth [sic] street, to the existing Jacks Run sewer crossing Ohio River Boulevard at or near the City line. Also the construction of a sewer on the east sidewalk of McKees Rocks Bridge (Termon avenue approach), from the existing sewer on the east sidewalk of McKees Rocks Bridge (Termon avenue approach) at Florida street, to the existing sewer crossing McKees Rocks Bridge (Termon avenue approach) at Davis avenue.

Commencing at the existing sewer on the northeast sidewalk of Ohio River Boulevard at Millerton avenue; thence southeastwardly along the northeast sidewalk of Ohio River Boulevard, to the existing sewer on the northeast sidewalk of Ohio River Boulevard, northwest of Elmhurst avenue. Also commencing on the southwest sidewalk of Ohio River Boulevard, at a point about 60 ft. northwest of Millerton avenue; thence southeastwardly and eastwardly along the southwest sidewalk and roadway of Ohio River Boulevard, to the existing sewer on the northeast sidewalk of Ohio River Boulevard, northwest of Elmhurst avenue. Also commencing on the northeast sidewalk of Ohio River Boulevard, at a point about 70 ft. northwest of Wealth street; thence northwestwardly along the northeast sidewalk of Ohio River Boulevard, to the existing Jacks Run sewer crossing Ohio River Boulevard, at or near the City line. Also commencing at the existing sewer on the east sidewalk of McKees Rocks Bridge (Termon avenue approach) at Florida street; thence northwardly along the east sidewalk of McKees Rocks Bridge (Termon Avenue approach), to the existing sewer crossing McKees Rocks Bridge (Termon avenue approach) at Davis avenue. Said sewers to be Terra Cotta Pipe and 15″ in diameter, and to be constructed in accordance with Plan Acc. Nos. 3939–40 on file in the Bureau of Engineering, Department of Public Works. The said contract or contracts to be awarded for a sum not to exceed Twelve Thousand ($12,000.00) Dollars, and the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract or contracts with the successful bidder or bidders for the performance of the work in accordance with the laws and ordinances governing said City.

Section 2. That for the payment of the cost thereof, the sum of Twelve Thousand ($12,000.00) Dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby set apart and appropriated from Bond Fund No. 295, Sewer Bonds of 1928, and the Mayor and the Controller are hereby authorized and directed respectively to issue and countersign warrants drawn on said fund in payment of the cost of said work.

Section 3. That any Ordinance or part of Ordinance conflicting with the provisions of this Ordinance, be and the same is hereby repealed, so far as the same affects this Ordinance.
