AN ORDINANCE—Locating Caton street, from Beechwood boulevard to Shady avenue, and establishing the grade thereof.

Section 1. Be it ordained and enacted by the City of Pittsburgh, in Council assembled, and it is hereby ordained and enacted by the authority of the same, That Caton street, from Beechwood boulevard to Shady avenue, in the Fourteenth ward, shall be located at the width of fifty (50) feet along the following described lines, to-wit:

The north five-foot survey line shall begin on the east five-foot tangent line produced of Beechwood boulevard, at a distance of 254.61 feet south 18° 53′ 40″ west from a stone monument at the P. C. of the first curve south of Monitor street and having a radius of 478.03 feet on the center line; thence deflecting to the west 75° 33′ 20″ and extending north 85° 33′ west for a distance of 998.73 feet to the center line of Shady avenue, as located by Ordinance No. 458, approved March 23, 1904.

The north line shall be parallel to and at a perpendicular distance of five feet northwardly from the above described five-foot survey line and extend from Beechwood boulevard to Shady avenue, for a distance of 965.74 feet.

The south line shall be parallel to and at a perpendicular distance of 45 feet southwardly from the above described five-foot survey line.

Section 2. The grade on the north curb line shall begin on the west curb of Beechwood boulevard, at an elevation of 402.60 feet; thence rising at a rate of 8 per cent. for a distance of 151.31 feet to a point of curve to an elevation of 414.71 feet; thence by a convex parabolic curve for a distance of 200 feet to a point of tangent to an elevation of 414.71 feet; thence falling at the rate of 8 per cent. for a distance of 642.85 feet to the east curb line of Shady avenue to an elevation of 363.28 feet.

Section 3. That any Ordinance or part of Ordinance conflicting with the provisions of this Ordinance be and the same is hereby repealed, so far as the same affects this Ordinance.
