AN ORDINANCE—Opening Caton street, from Beechwood boulevard to Shady avenue, in the Fourteenth ward of the City of Pittsburgh, and providing that he [sic] cost, damages and expnses [sic] occasioned thereby be assessed against and collected from properties benefited thereby.

Section 1. Be it ordained and enacted by the City of Pittsburgh, in Council assembled, and it is hereby ordained and enacted by the authority of the same, That Caton street, from Beechwood boulevard to Shady avenue, in the Fourteenth ward of the City of Pittsburgh, be opened to a width of fifty (50) feet in accordance with an Ordinance locating the same, approved March 24, 1916, and recorded in Ordinance Book 27, page 436.

Section 2. The Department of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to cause said Caton street, from Beechwood boulevard to Shady avenue, to be opened, in conformity with the provisions of Section 1 of this Ordinance.

Section 3. The cost, damages and expenses caused thereby, and the benefits to pay the same, shall be assessed against and collected from properties benefited thereby, in accordance with the provisions of the Acts of Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania relating thereto and regulating the same.

Section 4. That any Ordinance or part of Ordinance conflicting with the provisions of this Ordinance be and the same is hereby repealed, so far as the same affects this Ordinance.
