AN ORDINANCE—Approving and accepting the dedication of Pittock street, from the northerly line of Shady Avenue plan, Twenty-second ward, to line dividing properties of Hallett and Sneathen.

Section 1. Be it ordained and enacted by the City of Pittsburgh in Select and Common Councils assembled, and it is hereby ordained and enacted by the authority of the same, That the following dedication of Pittock street, from the northerly line of Shady Avenue plan, Twenty-second ward, to line dividing properties of Hallett and Sneathen, shall be and the same is hereby approved and accepted:

Dedication of certain land for a public street to be known as Pittock street, extending from the northerly line of Shady Avenue Plan, Twenty-second ward, to line dividing properties of Hallett and Sneathen.

The undersigned, being the owner in fee simple of all the land hereinafter described, does hereby dedicate and set apart for public use, as a public highway, forever, all the following: A piece of ground to be known as Pittock street, bounded and described as follows, to wit: The center line of Pittock street shall begin on the northerly line of the Shady Avenue plan, in the Twenty-second ward, laid out by the Shady Avenue Land Company, at its intersection with the center line of Pitock [sic] street, as laid out in said plan; thence by the center line of Pittock street produced, as laid out in said plan, in a northerly direction, parallel to and at a distance of 250 feet from the center line of Sanford avenue, as laid out in said plan, to the line dividing the properties of Hallett and Sneathen; and said Pittock street shall be of a width of 50 feet.

And I do hereby waive any and all claims for damages which I may have, or which may accrue to me by reason of the taking and appropriating of the said ground for street or highway purposes, as shown upon a plan hereto attached and made a part hereof, and I do hereby authorize the City of Pittsburgh, through its proper officers, to take possession of the said land hereinbefore described and treat it the same as though opened and acquired by and under an Ordinance of Councils duly approved.
