AN ORDINANCE—Approving and accepting the dedication of Nicholson street, from the easterly line of Shady Avenue plan, Twenty-second ward, to the westerly line of Pittock street.

Section 1. Be it ordained and enacted by the City of Pittsburgh in Select and Common Councils assembled, and it is hereby ordained and enacted by the authority of the same, That the following dedication of Nicholson street, from the easterly line of Shady Avenue plan, Twenty-second ward, to the westerly line of Pittock street, shall be and the same is hereby approved and accepted:

Dedication of certain land for a public street to be known as Nicholson street, extending from the easterly line of Shady Avenue plan to the westerly line of Pittock street.

The undersigned, being the owner in fee simple of all the land hereinafter described, does hereby dedicate and set apart for public use, as a public highway, forever, all the following: A piece of ground to be known as Nicholson street, bounded and described as follows, to wit: The center line of Nicholson street shall begin on the easterly line of the Shady Avenue plan, in the Twenty-second ward, laid out by the Shady Avenue Land Company, at its intersection with the center line of Nicholson street, as laid out in said plan; thence by the center line of Nicholson street produced, as laid out in said plan, in an easterly direction, to the westerly side line of Pittock street produced, as laid out in said plan; and said Nicholson street shall be of a width of 50 feet.

And I do hereby waive any and all claims for damages which I may have, or which may accrue to me by reason of the taking and appropriating of the said ground for street or highway purposes, as shown upon a plan hereto attached and made a part hereof, and I do hereby authorize the City of Pittsburgh, through its proper officers, to take possession of the said land hereinbefore described and treat it the same as though opened and acquired by and under an Ordinance of Councils duly approved.
