AN ORDINANCE.—Establishing the grade of Squirrel Hill avenue from Northumberland avenue to Wilkins street.
Section 1. Be it ordained and enacted by the City of Pittsburgh, in Select and Common Councils assembled, and it is hereby ordained and enacted by the authority of the same, That the grade of the east curb of Squirrel Hill avenue from Northumberland avenue to Wilkins street, be and the same is hereby established as follows, to wit:
Beginning on the north curb of Northumberland avenue at an elevation of 337.34 feet; thence by a concave parabolic curve tangent to a level line for a distance of 84.50 feet to a P. T., to an elevation of 339.03 feet; thence rising at the rate of 4.00 feet per 100 feet for a distance of 239.50 feet to the south curb of an unnamed street to an elevation of 348.61 feet; thence level across said street for a distance of 36.00 feet to the north curb; thence falling at the rate of 2.00 feet per 100 feet for a distance of 252.00 feet to a P. C., to an elevation of 343.57 feet; thence by a concave parabolic curve for a distance of 72.00 feet to a P. T. on the south curb of an unnamed street to an elevation of 342.85 feet; thence level across said street for a distance of 36.00 feet to the north curb; thence by a concave parabolic curve for a distance of 48.00 feet to a P. T. to an elevation of 343.57 feet; thence rising at the rate of 3.00 feet per 100 feet for a distance of 264.00 feet to the south building line of an unnamed street to an elevation of 351.49 feet; thence rising at the rate of 1.90 feet per 100 feet for a distance of 360.00 feet to the south building line of an unnamed street to an elevation of 358.33 feet; thence falling at the rate of 1.00 foot per 100 feet for a distance of 60.00 feet to the north building line of said street to an elevation of 357.73 feet; thence falling at the rate of 5.00 feet per 100 feet for a distance of 677.18 feet to a point to an elevation of 323.87 feet; thence falling at the rate of 2.00 feet per 100 feet for a distance of 660.55 feet to a point to an elevation of 310.66 feet; thence falling at the rate of 1.00 foot per 100 feet for a distance of 44.25 feet to the south curb of Wilkins street to an elevation of 310.22 feet.
Sec. 2. That any ordinance or part of ordinance conflicting with the provisions of this ordinance, be and the same is hereby repealed so far as the same affects this ordinance.
