AN ORDINANCE—Locating Nicholson avenue, from Beechwood avenue to Pocussett avenue.

Section 1. Be it ordained and enacted by the City of Pittsburgh, in Select and Common Councils assembled, and it is hereby ordained and enacted by the authority of the same, That the center line of Nicholson avenue, from Beechwood avenue to Pocussett avenue, be and the same is hereby located as follows, to wit:

Beginning at a point in Beechwood avenue at the intersection of the tangent lines of the 1st curve in the said avenue north from Pocussett avenue; thence deflecting to the left from the tangent line, being the centre line of Beechwood avenue, connecting the said point and Pocussett avenue, an angle of 105° 40′ in a westwardly direction a distance of 710.82 feet to the centre line of Tilbury avenue, distant 2.48 feet north from the angle in said avenue north from Pocussett avenue; thence deflecting to the right 11° 05′ 15″ a distance of 537.09 feet to the centre line of Shady avenue, and distant 61.094 feet south from a stone monument situated at the 1st angle in Shady avenue north from Pocussett avenue; thence deflecting to the right 6° 56′ 05″ in the said westwardly direction parallel to and at a perpendicular distance of 290.00 feet north from the centre line of Pittock avenue, a distance of 1060.892 feet to an angle in Murray avenue (distant 21.078 feet along the line herein described produced to the west 5-foot running line of Murray avenue); thence deflecting to the left from the said angle point in Murray avenue 28° 16′, and in the said westwardly direction parallel to and at a perpendicular distance of 290.00 feet north from the centre line of Pittock avenue, a distance of 1850.81 feet to the centre line of Pocussett avenue, intersecting the said line at an angle of 65° 37′ (S. E.) and at a distance of 203.32 feet northwestwardly from the point of tangent northwestwardly from Pittock avenue, and the said Nicholson avenue between the said points, viz., Beechwood avenue and Pocussett avenue, shall be located at a width of fifty (50) feet.

Sec. 2. That any ordinance or part of ordinance conflicting with the provisions of this ordinance be and the same is hereby repealed so far as the same affects this ordinance.
