AN ORDINANCE—Amending an Ordinance entitled, "An Ordinance authorizing the vacation of Mound alley, from Myron alley to Corday alley," approved May 17, 1894.

Whereas, In the approval and passage of an Ordinance entitled, "An Ordinance authorizing the vacation of Mound alley, from Myron alley to Corday alley," it was ordained and enacted in Select and Common Councils and by authority of the same, "That Mound alley, from Myron alley to Corday alley, as located in Dr. A. H. Gross Plan of Streets, Twentieth ward, approved by Councils May 31, 1869, and an Ordinance approving, confirming and locating the streets, avenues and alleys in said plan, approved October 12, 1893, shall be and the same is hereby vacated," when it was the intention to vacate but a portion of said Mound alley, as set forth in the petition, praying for said vacation.

Now, therefore, for the purpose of correcting the error and mistake in the said Ordinance, be it ordained and enacted by the City of Pittsburgh, in Select and Common Councils assembled, and it is hereby ordained and enacted by the authority of the same, That said Ordinance entitled, "An Ordinance authorizing the vacation of Mound alley, from Myron alley to Corday alley," which ordains,

"Section 1. Be it ordained and enacted by the City of Pittsburgh in Select and Common Councils assembled, and it is hereby ordained and enacted by the authority of the same, That Mound alley, from Myron alley to Corday alley, as located in Dr. A. H. Gross Plan of Streets, Twentieth ward, approved by Councils May 31, 1869, and an Ordinance approving, confirming and locating the streets, avenues and alleys in said plan, approved October 12, 1893, shall be and the same is hereby vacated," is hereby amended to read:

"Section 1. Be it ordained and enacted by the City of Pittsburgh, in Select and Common Councils assembled, and it is hereby ordained and enacted by the authority of the same, That the northern 25 feet of said Mound alley, being that portion of said alley lying between the south line of Myron alley and extending southwardly a distance of 25 feet, shall be and the same is hereby vacated."

Section 2. That any Ordinance or part of Ordinance conflicting with the provisions of this Ordinance, be and the same is hereby repealed, so far as the same affects this Ordinance.
