"An ordinance approving, confirming and locating certain streets, avenues and alleys in the City of Pittsburgh, as laid in Dr. A. H. Gross' plan of lots, Twentieth ward, approved by Councils May 31, 1869, the names being as follows: Elm (now Edmond) street, Mathilda street, Fitch street, Gross street, Winebiddle avenue, Evaline street, Conrad (now Pacific avenue) street, Herman (now Atlantic avenue) street, Rebecca street, Coral street, Liberty avenue, Penn avenue, Archon alley, Amboy alley, Darwin alley, Comrie alley, and Corday alley and unnamed alleys lying between Gross street and Fitch street and Mathilda street and Fitch street and Elm (now Edmond) street and Mathilda street." AN ORDINANCE—Approving, confirming and locating certain streets, avenues and alleys in the City of Pittsburgh, as laid in Dr. A. H. Gross' plan of lots, Twentieth ward, approved by Councils May 31, 1869, the names being as follows: Elm (now Edmond) street, Mathilda street, Fitch street, Gross street, Winebiddle avenue, Evaline street, Conrad (now Pacific avenue) street, Herman (now Atlantic avenue) street, Rebecca street, Coral street, Liberty avenue, Penn avenue, Archon alley, Amboy alley, Darwin alley, Comrie alley, and Corday alley and unnamed alleys lying between Gross street and Fitch street and Mathilda street and Fitch street and Elm (now Edmond) street and Mathilda street.

Section 1. Be it ordained and enacted by the City of Pittsburgh in Select and Common Councils assembled, and it is hereby ordained and enacted by the authority of the same, That the streets, avenues and alleys marked, laid down and located on a plan known as Dr. A. H. Gross' plan of lots, Twentieth ward, approved by Councils May 31, 1869, and recorded in Street Plan Book, pages 5 and 6, Bureau of Engineering and Surveys, City of Pittsburgh, shall be and are hereby approved, confirmed and located, as laid out in said plan, the names, limits and widths of said streets, avenues and alleys being as follows, to wit:

Elm (now Edmond) street, from Liberty avenue to Penn avenue, 40 feet in width.

Mathilda street, from Liberty avenue to Penn avenue, 60 feet in width.

Fitch street, from Liberty avenue to Penn avenue, 50 now 50 and 60 feet in width.

Gross street, from Liberty avenue to Penn avenue, 50 feet in width.

Winebiddle avenue, from Liberty avenue to Penn avenue, 60 feet in width.

Evaline street, from Liberty avenue to Penn avenue, 50 feet in width.

Conrad street (now Pacific avenue), from Liberty avenue to Penn avenue, 60 feet in width.

Herman street (now Atlantic avenue), from Liberty avenue to Penn avenue, 50 feet in width.

Rebecca street, from Liberty avenue to Penn avenue, 50 feet in width.

Liberty avenue, from Elm (now Edmond) street to Rebecca street, 80 feet in width.

Harriett street, from Winebiddle avenue to Rebecca street, 50 feet in width.

Friendship avenue, from Elm (now Edmond) street to Rebecca street, 60 feet in width.

Coral street, from Winebiddle avenue to Rebecca street, 50 feet in width.

Comrie alley, from Elm (now Edmond) street to Winebiddle avenue, 20 feet in width.

Corday alley, from Elm (now Edmond) street to Conrad street (now Pacific avenue), at 20 feet in width.

Archon alley, from Harriett street eastwardly, 20 feet in width.

Unnamed alley, from Corday alley to Comrie alley, between Elm (now Edmond) street and Mathilda street, 20 feet in width.

Unnamed alley, from Corday alley to Comrie alley, between Mathilda street and Fitch street, 20 feet in width.

Unnamed alley, from Corday alley to Comrie alley, between Fitch street and Gross street, 20 feet in width.

Unnamed alley, from Conrad street (now Pacific avenue) to Herman street (now Atlantic avenue), between Harriett street and Friendship avenue, 20 feet in width.

Amboy alley, from Corday alley to Coral street, 20 feet in width.

Darwin alley, from Corday alley eastwardly, 20 feet in width.

In accordance with a plan hereto attached and made part of this ordinance.

Sec. 2. That any ordinance or part of ordinance conflicting with the provisions of this ordinance be and the same is hereby repealed so far as the same effects [sic] this ordinance.
