AN ORDINANCE—Establishing grade of Bidwell street from Fifth avenue to Centre avenue.
Section 1. Be it ordained and enacted by the city of Pittsburgh in Select and Common Councils assembled, and it is hereby ordained and enacted by the authority of the same, That the grade of the east curb of Bidwell street from north curb of Fifth avenue to the south curb of Centre avenue be and the same is hereby established as follows: Commencing at north curb of Fifth avenue, thence falling 1.74 feet per 100 feet to south curb of Castleman street, thence falling 0.75 foot per 100 feet to north curb of Elmer street, thence rising 1.427 feet per 100 feet to south curb of Ellsworth avenue, thence level ⸻ ⸻ to north curb of Ellsworth avenue, thence rising 4.56 feet per 100 feet to south curb of Bidwell [sic] street, thence rising 0.80 foot per 100 feet to north curb of Wallingford street, thence falling 2.66 feet per 100 feet to south curb of Centre avenue.
Sec. 2. That any Ordinance or part of Ordinance conflicting with the provisions of this ordinance be and the same is hereby repealed, so far as the same affects this ordinance.
Ordained and enacted into a law, in Councils, this 1st day of May, A. D. 1874.
