From Pittsburgh Streets
Lights Without Wires.

An illustration of street lighting without the use of unsightly poles and overhead wires is afforded at the new Schenley farms plan in Oakland. On Natalie street, named for the daughter of Charles Donnelly, one of the owners, iron poles have been erected to carry the arc lights, a single light being shown on those between the blocks, the electricity being fed from a conduit.
