J. S. Morrow, Banker, Rites Held Tomorrow

Services for J. Sandels Morrow, 60, prominent in the banking, investment and real estate business here for many years, will be held at 2 p. m. tomorrow in H. Samson's, 537 N. Neville St.

A former president of Morrow & Co., and former vice president of the Continental Trust Co., he died Saturday night of a heart attack in his home, 2750 Beechwood Blvd.

His father, the late Dr. John R. Morrow, a Pittsburgh banker, sold the land on which the Morrowfield Apartments are located in Squirrel Hill.

VETERAN OF TWO WARS

A veteran of both world wars, Mr. Morrow served on the general staff in military intelligence during World War II.

A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, he was a member of the Sixth Presbyterian Church, the Pittsburgh Athletic Association, the Longue Vue Country Club, the Army & Navey Club of Washington, the Aero Club, the Tuna Club of Atlantic City, Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity, the American Legion and the Sportsmen's Club.

Surviving are his wife, Rose Dietz Morrow; two sons, John R. of Spring Lake, Mich., and Robert D., of Pittsburgh; a sister, Mrs. Wenman A. Hicks, widow of the former president and director of the Hicks Coal Interests; and two grandchildren.
