  • Source:Real-estate-1918-01-12-post: "The Conley Land Companl [sic], owners of property fronting in Wightman street, between Forbes street and Darlington road, Squirrel Hill, has decided to start, at once, the erection of 16 modern brick homes on the property, an investment of about $125,000. A contract has been awarded Toupet, Beil & Conley, and it it expected that the houses will be completed in time for occupancy May 1. This is regarded as quite an undertaking in view of the reported inability of the railroads to make shipments of materials. ¶ A court, to be known as Hollenden Place, is to be created off Wightman street and the houses are to be grouped around this court. Some of them will be of the duplex type, others in rows."
