Neighborhood: Point Breeze North
Thomas Boulevard was named by real estate magnate G. D. Simen for George Henry Thomas (1816–1870), Union general in the American Civil War.[1, 2, 3] Nearby Meade Street and McPherson Boulevard are also named for Union generals.
