Sleeth Place was originally part of Juniata Street, which became Brashear Street in 1910 (see Juniata Place).[1] The segment of Brashear Street between Lang Avenue and Mosaic Way was renamed Sleeth Place in 1933.[2] The name refers to C. M. Sleeth, who owned the property on both sides of the street.[3]
