Origin of name William Larimer, Jr.

Larimer Avenue is named for William Larimer, Jr. (1809–1875). It was originally named Larimer Lane and was the entrance from Frankstown Road to Larimer's estate. In 1858 Larimer founded the city of Denver, Colorado.[1][2][3][4]
